This Apple^® manual was written, edited, and composed on a desktop publishing system using Apple Macintosh^® computers and Microsoft^® Word. Proof pages were created on the Apple LaserWriter^® printers; final pages were printed on a Varityper^® VT600™.

POSTSCRIPT^®, the LaserWriter page description language, was developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated.

Text type and display type are Apple's corporate font, a condensed version of Garamond. Bullets are ITC Zapf Dingtbats^®.
