3. Drag the icon to change its position on the desktop.
Make sure the pointer is still positioned on the System.Disk icon. Then press and hold down the mouse button while you move the mouse.

As you drag, an outline of the icon moves with the pointer to indicate the new location of the icon. When you release the mouse button, the icon moves to its new position.

4. Practice moving both the System.Disk icon and the Trash icon.
Note that clicking one icon automatically deselects the other icon.

5. Move the icons back to their original positions on the desktop.
Having the icons in their original positions will make it easier for you to follow along with the illustrations used in the remainder of this chapter
