4. Click the Letters folder icon to select it again.

5. Hold down the Option key while you choose another color from the Color menu.
If you hold down the Option key while you choose a color, the icon's outline, rather than it's background, changes to the selected color.

6. Color the other icons in the Tutorial window.
Select each icon in turn and choose a background and outline color for it. Experiment to see which color combinations you like best for the background and outline of the icon. For a somewhat different look, try setting the background and outline of an icon to the same color.
Note that a selected icon will always have a black background and a white outline, no matter what color its outline and background have been set to. And an icon that has been opened into a window and then deselected will have a gray background and outline, no matter what color its outline and background have been set to.
