Untitled isn't a very meaningful name for a folder. That's one of the reasons the Finder lets you rename icons.
Follow these steps to rename the Untitled icon:
1. If necessary, click the Untitled icon to select it.
If the icon is already selected, skip to step 2.
2 Type the name Memos.
The name Untitled disappears, and the name Memos appears below the icon as you type.
There are some restrictions on the names you can use for folders and files. You'll find complete information on naming rules in Chapter 3 of the Apple IIGS Owner's Reference
Doesn't work? If nothing happens when you start typing, you may have moved the icon slightly when you clicked to select it. Click anywhere else on the screen to deselect the icon. Then repeat steps 1 and 2.
3. Press Return.
The new name doesn't take effect until you press Return.
4. Practice renaming other icons in the Tutorial folder.
Follow steps 1 through 3 for each icon you rename.
