2. Scroll through the column on the left until the Time icon is visible. The Control Panel's scroll bar works just like the scroll bars in a window. In this case, drag the proportional scroll box to the bottom of the scroll bar.
3. Select the Time icon. Click the Time icon to select it. The Time options appear in the column on the right.

4. Press the box to the right of the word Year. Position the pointer on the box and hold down the mouse button. A list of years appears. This list, called a pop-up menu, works in much the same way as the menus in the menu bar.
