: Hi,
: I found that card and I would like to fit it into my 'europlus'. I saw that there's a cable starting from the card that should end somewhere on a socket on the board. But there aren't free sockets, so I think that I should replace one of the existing chips. Can you help me finding the exact one?

It goes next to a bank of RAM chips near the front. I can't remember which although I do recall it's about two rows up from the front on the left hand side (from the keyboard end).

The cable is needed since no memory refresh circuitry exists on the card. Newer RAM cards no longer require such a cable.

: Also, how do I use the new ram? Should I run a program or something else?

ProDOS automaticaly sees the extra RAM. DOS 3.3 treats the extra RAM as a "language card" or RAM disk. Copy II Plus sees the extra RAM as storage space.
