Don't know if anyone answered this one yet but...., The ONLY way I know of to accomplish this is to install Appletalk version 2.0 (works under System 6, and makes the Mac in question a dedicated server from then on), Appletalk 3.0 or 3.0.3. I have worked the most with the 3.0 flavors, and here the trick is to create a System folder on the Mac and to install Prodos and Basic.System on the root. then from Appleshare Admin on the Mac, set a user with rights to the drive (I set full rights; easier), and set the inital program that is to run on signin to System:Finder. Then set the GS to boot from Appletalk, set appletalk to a slot in control panel, hook up a serial cable and get read for a boot that is slower then a floppy. This is all expalined in the Appleshare guide on the Apple tech support area (sorry I don't have the url handy). Good luck
