As far as I know the only Mac-5.25" floppy connectivity was the old A2 card
(with 3.5" and 5.25" connector cables for floppies) that Apple released for the Mac LC range.
I've got one hooked onto an old LC2 with a 3.5" and 5.25" floppy. Still works fine.

I recall that they were only ever compatible with Macs created using the LCx architecture,
and were not compatible with later models.

I've only ever used Sys 7.1 with the card (The LC2 supports a mere 10Mb. RAM).
Haven't heard of any Sys 9/G3/5.25" floppy setup - sorry.

Cheers,
